Well, I've been spending most of the last week resting. I found out that I have pneumonia! While I've definitely gotten some good show watching done, I also begun my new challenge: Month of No Eating Out! As a single mom, small business owner, dinnertime often falls by the wayside in my planning. I absolutely love cooking, always have, and have been missing this part of my creative expression in life. I'm only 2 days into my challenge so far, and it's going great! Check in on day 30. I might not be as excited about it as I am now.

During my #monthofmealsathome I'll be sharing some recipes on here that are some of my particular favorites. I'll also be sharing pictures and techniques. I've convinced myself that if I make this commitment on my blog, then I'll have to stick with it!

Anyhow, I've not been getting nearly enough knitting done as I'd like, even while sick. My brain can tell that I've been missing it! Does the act of knitting or crochet become almost like a meditative act to anyone else out there? I always notice that my stresses and worries fade a little more with each stitch I knit. I've got to find more time for it.

Signing off for now! I hope that you've all been well and not housebound like me!
