June Newsletter - AKA BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS

You may have been seeing my Instagram posts these last few weeks, hinting at some big changes coming for Nutmeg. Well, I finally am able to announce some truly exciting news!

We've been spending our last two years growing in our tiny little spot at the Shoppes on Fatherland. Well, we've outgrown!

"So, what does that mean?" you may ask. Let me tell you!

First up, Nutmeg will no longer be located at the Shoppes on Fatherland. We are searching for another brick and mortar location in East Nashville. Until then, I'll be operating out of my new dye studio! I absolutely cannot wait! We'll be at our current location until June 18th. And beginning today, we're having a moving sale! Everything at the Fatherland location and online is 30% off until June 18th! Help me have less to move!

"So does that mean that you're closing?" you may ask. No! Absolutely not! We are in no way closing. Quite the opposite! This is an exciting transition period and our spot at the Shoppes is not quite right for us any longer. As I work from my dye studio, I'll be grow, grow, growing our Nutmeg Fibers brand and hosting pop up shops and special events.

Speaking of special events, we'll have a booth at the 2016 Eastside Fiber Festival, as well as October's Fiber in the Boro event and (big news) we'll be attending Stitches West in February!!!!

Our online store will, of course, still be open, and thanks to Postmates, you can get same day shipments from us if you live in the Nashville area. I'll also be setting up appointments so you can visit the studio and shop in person. More info on that later!

And speaking of growing Nutmeg Fibers, I can also finally tell you a little bit about some other news! I've begun working with Echo View Fiber Mill (pictured below) to create some amazing new things for Nutmeg with the aid of local fiber farms. The fruits of this labor will be debuted this fall, so keep in touch for more details! Also, if you are a Tennessee Fibershed area farmer who is interested in knowing more about my project, get in touch at info@nutmegster.com.

This is a truly exciting new stage of growth for Nutmeg Fibers and I hope that you'll all be just as thrilled as I am about it!
